Niall has a wide-ranging knowledge of the Irish Financial Services & Banking sector gained through 25 years’ experience at senior levels in Business & Corporate Banking, Wealth Management & Asset Finance with multi sectoral experience providing client SMEs and Mid Corporates business banking and funding supports.
Niall’s core expertise relates to the preparation and arrangement of funding applications for SMEs across Ireland and project managing the process from application to drawdown of the sanctioned facilities. He has an in depth understanding of the credit system from the identification of the funding need to credit assessment, underwriting, right through to the formalisation and drawdown of all types of finance. In addition, Niall has a track record in negotiating the restructuring/refinancing of existing facilities with all financial institutions including investment funds.
Niall’s experience across a broad range of business/industrial sectors has benefitted him in providing consultancy/mentoring advice in relation to business models, plans, strategies, recruitment, and leadership/change to mention a few areas.
Niall is currently managing a multi-disciplined consultancy firm providing business management and financial services through company resources and in association with a number of approved and trusted professional and financial services providers. His company Consultas provides financing advice and business services to wide range of SME sectors with specialist experience in Veterinary, Retail, Retail Grocery, Dental, Medical, Pharmacy, Engineering, Property Development, Tech, Haulage, and Manufacturing.
