“Joe provides financial and strategic advice to private companies across a range of industry sectors and geographies. He has over 19 years’ experience in investment banking and strategy consulting. He specializes in companies that seek to expand internationally, attract new investors or require other forms of financing in order to grow their business. Based in Dublin, Joe has previously worked in London, the US, Germany and the Middle East. He holds BAI and BA degrees in mechanical and manufacturing engineering and mathematics from Trinity College Dublin, an MBA from the Wharton Business School and an MA in German from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania for International Studies. Joe currently advises corporate clients through Levare Capital Ltd, a Dublin based advisory company. Levare is a member of LVV Capital, a European boutique advisory network founded by Joe following his return to Dublin in 2004. Prior to LVV Capital, Joe worked at Deutsche Bank where as a Vice President he helped build Deutsche Bank Alex Brown’s European private capital advisory practice. In this role, Joe advised small and mid-cap growth companies across Europe in a range of sectors including enterprise software, semiconductors, telecoms, technology, renewable energy and life sciences.
Prior to Deutsche Bank, Joe worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and KPMG Corporate Finance where he trained in and practiced M&A advisory and corporate finance, and built the skills required for company valuation and benchmarking. Joe began his advisory career at The LEK Partnership working as a team member on strategy consulting assignments for UK clients. Prior to business school, Joe trained and worked in chemical engineering in the UK and USA.”
