Recruiting and retaining talent in Ireland is becoming increasingly difficult. In a recent survey, 80% of respondents reported having experienced skills shortages in the last year. In addition, 2 out of every 5 SMEs believe one of the biggest obstacles to their growth is the ability and resources to employ the right staff.
The overall objective of the Attracting & Retaining Talent workshop is to support SMEs to attract, develop and retain the best talent to support the growth of their business. Participant companies will learn how to implement and manage an effective recruitment process to attract, select and onboard the key skills they require to grow their business. They will understand how to engage and retain key talent though establishing an appropriate culture, development and career progression opportunities.

At the end of the workshop and follow-up session you will be able to:
- Develop an Employee Value Proposition for your business.
- Use a variety of communication methods and tools to reach prospective candidates.
- Develop clear job descriptions with key role responsibilities, deliverables and competencies.
- Screen and assess candidate fit for role.
- Put in place appropriate initiatives to engage employees across the business.

This is a highly interactive, engaging workshop that provides a clear direction on how you can attract and retain skills within your business. Conscia will share with you a variety of tools, templates and case studies to help you address key challenges.
One-to-One Implementation Session
You will be offered a two-hour follow-up one-to-one session with Conscia to review your Employee Value Proposition and obtain further support to develop recruitment and retention strategies.
Over the course of the workshop you will understand how to build an effective Employee Value Proposition to attract, develop and retain the best talent for your business. We use a blended learning approach that includes presentation slides, case studies, group discussions and individual exercises to ensure that the learning content is dynamic and meets your individual needs.
